891.12 ADVANCED STUDIO PRACTICE
PREREQUISITE: Graduate standing in the Department of art and permission of instructor.
2-5 credit
hours. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 20 credit hours.
MEETING TIME & PLACE: Arranged with the faculty person.
This is an independent studies course available to graduate students only. It is designed by the student in consultation with a professor of their choice. This course is for first year and second year graduate students. Graduate students are evaluated based on fulfilling the goals of their project proposal.
This course is an opportunity for the student to do independent research in the pursuit of their artistic goals and is often used to receive course credit for graduate research.
The student is advised to take this course with a faculty member from whom they would like to recieve creative and critical input.
